Age Requirements:
The candidate must be at least 17 years old and not more than 25 years old as of 31st December every year . A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/SBC candidates and girls of the general category, while girls belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC categories receive a relaxation of 10 years.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or its equivalent from a recognized Indian board/university with one of the following subject combinations:
a) Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, or
b) Agriculture stream subjects (with Biology as one of the optional subjects).
General category candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Reserved category candidates are eligible with 47.5%, which is 5% less than the requirement for general category candidates.
Entrance Examination:
The candidate must have appeared for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) in the same year of admission.
Seat Allocation:
All admissions will be on a merit basis as determined by the marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent.
Candidates from across India are eligible under the Management Quota, provided they meet all other admission criteria.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PH and other categories will follow the Government of Rajasthan’s rules as applicable to Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner.
